It may be cold outside but the February 2022 horoscope reminds us that there are signs of life about to ‘spring’ into action – just not quite yet. The retrograde season is drawing to an end; Mercury will move forward again on February 4th and Venus has already turned direct and will be forming one of the most hotly anticipated partnerships in the astrological calendar – a transiting conjunction with Mars that lasts until April.
I’ll be writing a separate post on Venus conjunct Mars but it’s somehow appropriate that this pair get within kissing distance of an exact conjunction around February 14th. Will it be a romantic month? Well, the lovers are transiting through Capricorn right now and that’s not a notably romantic sign – and both Venus and Mars have more going for them than hearts and flowers, so we shall see…
The other transiting aspect to watch is the Jupiter Uranus sextile. This is a contact that can open the door to something coming ‘out of the blue’. So is this month going to be the month to expect the unexpected? All things are possible with Jupiter Uranus contacts, so it may be a good idea to get comfortable and prepare yourself for whatever is heading your way. The good thing is that, as it’s a sextile, you will have a choice about how you handle it!
