What does the February 2025 horoscope foretell for you? One way or another, 2025 has started as a wild ride. Last month, I posted the first part of my analysis of the astrology of 2025, the annual look at the big themes that are going to unfold in the year ahead. If January was the month for rapid change and big, bold, brazen announcements, February is going to be all systems go. The highs will be high, the lows will be low, things will be ratcheted up and – hopefully – dialed down too. It’s going to be a month filled with radical shocks and surprises. So, if that’s the background noise, how will it affect you?
Astrologically, there are some signs of change this month: Mars and Jupiter turn direct, and that’s a big moment – especially for Mars. The current Mars retrograde in Leo – Cancer has been asking us to dig deep into the roots of conflict, and as Mars has been opposing Pluto for much of this retrograde period, much of what we have unearthed is less than pleasant. There is always hidden treasure, and this time, that treasure is the ability to choose your fight. You can’t win them all, but strategy beats impulse every time – and that’s what counts. As February begins to unwind, keep that point in mind.
February 2025 Horoscope: Aries
I hope you’re ready for this, as the volume is going to increase. When Jupiter turns direct on February 4th, you may feel as if your head is going to explode, but don’t worry, this sudden increase in communications, contacts and generally being busy is likely to be concerned with a new opportunity that has been under discussion for a while. You may have been thinking about how to increase your influence; if you want to make progress with that, now is the time to reach out. It’s a good month to be recognized for a particular skill or talent and you may be surprised by how people react to what you have to offer.
Of course, if you don’t make the effort, you will never know what that response could be. Mid-month, the full moon demands action; you may feel like having fun, but that’s going to depend on how much you have in the bank. One positive way of approaching this, will be to work out how you can re-work your finances and material needs and get more out of life. No-one wants to be burdened by worry – and that’s a theme that may come home to you as the month ends. As Mars moves forwards it contacts Saturn: it’s time to overcome your concerns – and move on.

Taurus is the sign of stability, but Uranus in your sign has been causing earthquakes for some time. This month, the full moon will reveal how to get your life back on a secure base. After a period of false starts, maybe it’s time to try a radical new approach. Mid-month, that is exactly what you may have to do. Additionally, Mars will be moving direct in the communications sector of your chart. This is significant because there may be a few things that have been left unsaid over the past couple of months. Expect words to reach boiling point around February 4th.
Taurus is not a cerebral sign, but Mars’s direct motion releases a lot of mental energy. If Uranus has already got you feeling wired, Mars is going to add to the sense of urgency. Your mind may be racing as you try to get your head around tasks have been left undone. One thing may be clear to you: it’s important to start thinking about your future. What do you want out of life? Are your goals realistic? They are the questions you will have to answer as the month draws to a close – and the new moon in Leo will help you to work on those dreams in a creative way.

At last! You can face the world with optimism. Jupiter retrograde in Gemini has left you doing some soul searching. You may have been asking yourself whether you were travelling the right road. Still, it’s a great feeling to approach life with the glass half full, and you may have to opportunity to fill it to the brim. However, the full moon in Leo mid-month may bring some dramatic or unsettling news.
Sometimes we simply don’t know how to respond to things we see or hear. This could be one of those moments. Life is full of surprises – and this surprise could be something beyond your wildest dreams (or nightmares). These things can go either way. The good news is that Mars moves forwards in your house of resources, so your resourcefulness will no longer be in short supply. An energy boost is welcome – and this month it’s best applied to your career, or any important project that is taking up your time. There is nothing worse than self-inflicted pain, but there is another side to this: your nagging doubts may disappear, and that’s a major plus for Cancer folks. Mid-month, the full moon – your ruler – is going to shine on your money house and it suggests you need to rethink your financial goals. If you want to secure your future, now is the time to do so.
Mars direct will give you an energy boost. You may feel as if you’re making up for lost time, so make the most of it. Your energy will be best directed towards long range or big ideas. You may decide where you want to go on vacation, or you may understand more about a particular situation in your life, or you may look at a few issues from a different angle. You may need to combat a few outworn opinions – either your own or those of other people. It may be time to knock some heads together.
February 2025 Horoscope: Leo
It’s time to grow your aims and ambitions. If you have spent the past few months working out where you want to go, you may be ready to stat the journey. In the first week of the month, luck and opportunity may head your way, but beware of inflated expectations: you will be expected to work hard to achieve your desired outcome. By the middle of the month, the spotlight is on you. The full moon shines in your sign, so you will be feeling as if the future is in your hands. *Spoiler alert*: it is.
That’s especially true where your career is concerned. Radical changes could occur this month. There may be an ‘out of the blue’ moment, but it’s going to be up to you to make the most of it. With Uranus involved, things could go either way, but if you’re prepared to take a risk and try something new, that shake of the dice could work in your favor. And it’s about time. Mars moving forwards will ease the frustration you have felt for the past few months. Put your fears and excuses to one side and make change a reality.
February 2025 Horoscope: Virgo
You have spent enough time with your career is on hold. On the surface, there’s not much to see, but underneath you want to move up or and move on. This month, you’re in luck, during the first week, Jupiter moves forwards in the career sector of your chart. There may be an opportunity to reach out to influential people who can help you on your way, or that job offer or promotion you’ve been waiting for could land in your inbox. If either of those things manifest for you, go for it: the stars don’t align this way every month.
It’s a month for excitement in other ways too. The full moon reveals things you have been keeping to yourself. To move forwards, you need exorcise the ghosts of the past; that will be your challenge this month. Shocks and surprises may come from overseas, or you may realise that your future lies far away from where you are now. That may be a literal or symbolic revelation, but it holds an eternal truth: if you want to expand your life, you have to be prepared to move. At the end of the month, new partnerships (personal or professional) are well starred.

You’re going to be feeling more optimistic than usual this month. Jupiter turns direct in your house of growth and expansion, so if that doesn’t make you feel positive about life, nothing will. There are many reasons why you could feel that way, but whatever they are, the future is bright. You may have the opportunity to travel or study, so use this energy positively. The downside is that you may feel invincible, but experience often suggests otherwise.
Re-read the above, because the full moon is about to shine on your aspirations, and to meet them, things must change. You need to cut ties with anything – and anyone – who holds you back. It’s time to move on to another phase in life – and fast. With Uranus involved, events could do that for you and you may have to react quickly to a surprise situation. Be prepared. Mars moving forwards adds energy to your career zone – and that’s just as well, as you have some hard work ahead of you. Apply yourself, but don’t get ahead of yourself.

There may be a radical change in the balance of your relationships or changes in your career may lead to new partnerships – particularly of a professional nature. Uranus is involved, so there may be an unexpected twist or connection between your relationships and your career. As the month closes, Mars moves forwards in your house of growth. If you have felt unable to express yourself recently, that will change: direct your energy towards personal growth, as that will strengthen your confidence. Use that dynamic to sustain your self-belief as you voyage into the unknown.

Early this month, Jupiter moves forwards in your relationship zone. That’s good news for single Sagittarians, but for the committed, it’s also a positive development. Jupiter expands, so prepare to grow your primary relationship. Taking things to a new level is consistent with Jupiter here, but so is travel. Why not do both? That also applies to business or professional connections. The emphasis on travel and growth continues with this month’s full moon in Leo. You may need to get a fresh perspective on the way you work, on your health and wellbeing, or on your lifestyle choices in general.
A second opinion is never a bad thing, especially where your health is concerned. This month, you may experience a surprise in that area, so be prepared for a radical change in the way you manage your life moving forwards. The full moon in Leo shows you’re caught up in some major changes; life may seem overly dramatic at times – especially mid-month.
Change affects your confidence, especially when it’s change for its own sake. You like to have a solid reason for making alterations, but this month you’re going to have to take a few chances. Some things may work out, others won’t, but you’ll gain most if you allow yourself to run with anything original. Don’t follow the herd, or do things to please other people. Being yourself is the best way to build your confidence and authority. At the end of the month, relationships are ‘energetic’; use this time to set the rules of engagement. You and your partner may have some decisions to make about your home situation. Something is going to upset your domestic or family life; it could be a house move or home project or family issue, but whatever it is, it’s either a sudden decision or you have to react to an unexpected event. With Mars moving direct, focus your energy on making things work for you. There’s likely to be a financial impact, so take care of the pennies this month.
February 2025 Horoscope: Pisces
During the first week of February, Jupiter moves direct on the home front. if you have been waiting to ‘grow your home’ now is the time to move things forwards. That may mean a relocation is planned for some of you, or you may have visitors or more people under your roof than usual. If that sounds daunting, don’t worry as, overall, times are good this month. One reason for that may be revealed by the full moon in playful Leo: life is working well – or so it seems. Unfortunately, unexpected news may be upsetting. Beware of that mid-month.
Life is full of surprises in February, but not all of them are bad. This month, you may make a surprise announcement. You’ll certainly be full of bright ideas, even of some of them seem ‘off the wall’. Your challenge will be making your ideas and innovations workable, and that may be as true for your working life as it is at home. When you’re faced with new or unexpected situations you need to make adjustments. Mars will give you the courage to do what you think is best; you’re the boss this month, so take control of events.
