The March 2023 horoscope is here – and what a month it promises to be! We associate March with the coming of spring and the sign of Pisces. It’s a transitional month; it will flip from winter to spring – and back again – several times before we can safely assume it’s okay to put our winter woollens back in the closet, press, wardrobe – or wherever you keep them. And astrologically, this is a transitional month too – and not just because Pisces is a mutable sign.
This month sees some major astrological shifts. Mercury starts the month in Aquarius and ends it in Aries. Venus shifts from Aries to Taurus. They move rapidly, so there’s nothing unusual about any of that. But this is where it gets more interesting; Mars shifts from Gemini to Cancer in the final week of March. And that’s major because Mars has been in Gemini since August 21st 2022. By the time it makes its ingress into Cancer, Mars will have been in Gemini f0r seven months; this is one sign change we are definitely going to notice.
Mars is, however, small fry when we look at the next two major changes. On March 8th, Saturn moves into Pisces. Saturn’s journey through Aquarius is over (until the next time – about 30 years away) and that will have major implications both in our personal lives and for the world in which we live. The final change is, I suspect, going to be the most significant. Pluto makes its first ingress into Aquarius on March 24th. Whatever happens over the next few months will be like the trailer to the main feature. Be warned…

There’s a lot of energy that could be best directed towards getting your life on a sound footing; touch base with things that really matter to you – anything that brings you peace and stability is well starred. The New Moon will help you make a fresh start and pull you in the right direction.
March 2023 Horoscope: Taurus
Something comes to a head in the first week of the month – and it’s concerned with your personal satisfaction. Whatever form it takes, something is going to push you to get your act together – and it may involve your friends – or lack of them. I’m not accusing you of being a hermit, but if life has been less than sociable recently, perhaps you need to look in the mirror and ask yourself why. That may be the issue for some of you, but the opposite may hold true; sometimes we need to avoid going along with the crowd. Focusing on the things that you enjoy may be the message early this month.
This may be a necessity rather than a choice, as Mars has been running riot through your bank account since last summer. For a variety of reasons, cash has been racing out of your hands at an alarming rate. By the end of the month, this trend comes to a close and the opportunity presents itself to stabilise the situation – though it may not seem like it at the time, especially as Pluto signals a major upheaval in your career zone. Be prepared for some sharp words and home truths. The New Moon may cause you to retreat inwards – but finding a restful space may be a difficult task. Take that time out – a fresh start is on its way.
March 2023 Horoscope: Gemini
A combination of the New Moon, and Saturn’s move into Pisces around the same time, exposes some tensions between your inner stability and your ambitions. You need to operate from a stable base and the way to achieve that is to put more effort into your working life. Whatever you do, this month you are going to have to work hard – and be seen to do so. However, there is the chance you will be recognised as someone who is an ‘authority’ on something – so that hard work may pay off. ‘Coming home’ may represent feeling a sense of stability that you haven’t enjoyed for a while.
