Introduction to REblog
An outer planets mini triangle (or minor trine) is one of the most fascinating astrological events we can experience, and I’ve been meaning to write about this topic for some time. It has currency: Uranus Neptune and Pluto are now in alignment above us – and we are certainly feeling their effects. So, I decided to put electronic pen to paper, but as I was researching this article, I read a post on this subject that was so good, I decided to approach the topic in a new way – and REblog was born.
Under this heading, I’m going to reblog astrological articles that I think are too good to miss. Jessica Davidson’s article certainly falls into that category, not only providing an in-depth analysis of this particular outer planets mini triangle, but also providing a contextual analysis of the earlier ‘mini triangles’ that have occurred during the twentieth century. It’s a great article to start this occasional series of REblog posts with – and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. But before you do so, take a moment to read through my take on the outer planets mini triangle.
The Outer Planets Mini Triangle
The outer planets mini triangle of 2024-2028 is one of the main astrological features of this year and, as you can see from the title of this post, it’s gong to be an important feature for some years to come. It’s significant because it represents a seismic shift in the way we live our lives on this earth – and that’s because the outer planets mini triangle will usher in a new ‘spirit of the age’ or’zeitgeist’ as it’s commonly known. Major social, cultural, scientific and political shifts happen infrequently and, when they do, a transiting outer planets mini triangle marks the moment.
It’s a rare configuration, as outer planets mini triangles happens only two or three times a century, so what does it signify in the context of where we are now? Regular readers of this blog will know that I’ve been somewhat preoccupied with the process of change that that been signified by some of the major astrological alignments that have occurred in recent years. From the Great Conjunction of 2020-21 onward, the world has been thrust into a period of turmoil. From war, terrorism, political instability and economic melt down to Covid-19, events tell us things will never be the same again.
Astrologically, that’s no surprise. Neptune transiting in its own sign of Pisces has proved to be one of the the most difficult transits imaginable, as it has dissolved our ability to distinguish truth and falsehood using a variety of means to do so. It has undermined faith in life. It’s caused us to question who we are, what we identify with and who (or what) we can trust. Uranus in Taurus has upended economic order and rebelled against the established order and Pluto, nearing the end of its long transit through Capricorn, has reminded us of the power that vast wealth brings to the billionaire plutocratic class.
The outer planets have now come together in the dynamic mini triangle( or minor trine) formation – and that signals the moment of change is here. The outer planets know how to shake things up; while the outer planets mini triangle is active, all of the outer planets change signs – and those changes take place over the next few months. Pluto makes its final ingress into Aquarius in November, Neptune makes its first foray into Aries in March 2025 and Uranus flies into Gemini for the first time in July 2025.
The next few months are going to be unlike anything you have ever experienced. When outer planets change signs, the dynamics of life here on earth change too. On this occasion, the changes are going to be enormous, as all three outer planets changing sign almost at once and being in this mini triangle alignment is a powerful astrological moment. Don’t say you weren’t warned. And there will be no turning back. The universe has no reverse gear.
